Choose the project path that fits your request. The more clearly the electrical setup and proposed work can be seen, the more useful the first review can be.

Project photos: Take photos in good light and include the surrounding area when the wiring route is not obvious.

Property location: Include your ZIP code or service address so the applicable service and permit jurisdiction can be identified.

    A photo showing where the charger would be mounted and where the vehicle normally parks.

    For basement panels, detached garages or longer routes, wider photos showing the areas between the panel and charger are helpful.

    This helps identify the correct permit jurisdiction.

These photos can often tell us whether the project can begin with a virtual estimate or whether Nick should look at the wiring route in person.

Troubleshooting

For an electrical problem, describe what is happening, which areas are affected, when the problem started, and whether a breaker or protective device is tripping. 03 / VIRTUAL ESTIMATES

Can My Project Be Estimated From Photos?

Many straightforward EV charger and clearly defined electrical projects can begin with photos and project information. If electrical capacity, the wiring route, finished-space access or another condition cannot be determined reliably from photos, an on-site visit may be recommended before the final estimate is prepared.

Electrical troubleshooting is different. When the cause of a problem is unknown, diagnostic testing may be required before the repair scope can be determined.
